I have some jumps out in the pasture and a small hill to take them up and down.
I have rails and poles to get them to pick up their feet and get them more confident about where they are putting their feet so they don't trip over obstacles or hurry through them (nothing worse than a horse trying to hurry through branches that can trip them up or hurt their legs).
I have jumps in the indoor all year round and outdoor during the nice weather.
I have trails about 20 minutes away from my property to haul to and other arenas within that same time frame to go and practice more skills.
I have barrels to run and poles to weave through.
My most favorite thing though is POPPING BALLOONS! I get the horses doing this without fear and without getting them worked up, going at their pace until they are confident enough to let you do it at a gallop if you choose.
I am setting up some rings this summer so I can do a new game from my horses. I am also hoping to do some mounted archery this summer but need to start practicing myself so I can hit my target. Yay!!!
